2018 Reading Schedule

2018 Reading Schedule

Do you really know God?  It is one thing to believe in God--to know that He exists, or to know things about Him.  But God wants more.  He wants us to truly to know Him—to share a close, loving, and abiding relationship with Him.

In 2018, we’ll be reading the Old Testament together, watching as God reveals Himself over the centuries. We’ll see how:

He shows His power and glory.

                He reveals His holiness.

He gives us names to call Him--names that tell us things about His nature.

He makes promises, and keeps them over centuries.

He loves His people with faithful love, forgiving those who wander from Him.

Most importantly, we’ll see how all mankind may draw near to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.”  (Ephesians 1:17) (NIV).
